Delinting project questions

Is delinting the same as decortication?

No. Delinting removes residual lint from the seed surface; decortication opens the hull for subsequent kernel and hull separation. They are different operations and require different equipment.

What is needed for a plant quotation?

Send the feedstock specification, target throughput and delinting result, site layout, installation country, available utilities and downstream process. Identify whether the enquiry is for a replacement machine, additional capacity or an integrated new line. Final performance and scope must be agreed for the actual feed and operating conditions.
