Clarification and polishing duty
Clarification removes suspended solids from a liquid oil stream. The appropriate centrifuge depends on particle characteristics, solids concentration, viscosity, temperature, required clarity and whether solids discharge must be manual or automatic.
Process applications
Clarification duties may occur around crude oil handling, refinery intermediate streams, recovered oils, biodiesel-related processing or other industrial oil systems. Suitability must be verified against the actual feed and process objective.
